The Problem
eClinicalWorks’s medication database is all-inclusive and requires the provider to constantly search and adjust their prescription orders. There are also situations where medications that providers prescribe are not in the database and are normally typed free text or provide the patient a handwritten prescription. New medications are always becoming readily available and E-clinically normally does not have these medications in their system
The Tune-Up
We are able to create specialized menu (aka Order Set) for the provider to where the commonly ordered evaluation (labs, imaging, etc.), medications, procedures, patient education, and anything else ordered on a daily basis are programmed into an organized and readily available menu.
Components:
- Customized order set for the provider
- Medications (customize, add, pre-set)
- Lab work (current and future orders)
- Imaging (current and future orders)
- Procedures (current and future orders)
- Patient education
- Anything that the provider uses on a daily basis
